MEDcryo-bank
MEDcryo-bank is a structure for the collection and storage of human biological materials, such as DNA, RNA, tissues, plasma, serum, faeces, blood samples or other body fluids and related data. All the materials in our cryo-bank are kept in specific cryopreservation systems.
The purpose of MED cryo-bank is to support scientific research, guaranteeing access to high-quality biological samples necessary for biomolecular analysis and trials for new therapeutic solutions in oncology.
All biological samples are stored with the patient’s consent, following ethical rules and in compliance with the processing of a donor’s personal data.
It’s also an essential structure for all the people who want to store their genetic data to get a health check or to find out new genetic mutations related to the occurence of specific diseases.
